Sleep: Awesome!
Best moment this week: Sleeping in my own bed after a 5 day business trip in Vegas
Miss Anything: Drinking fun drinks while we were in Vegas :( and being able to work in heels for 16 hours.
Movement: Nada
Food cravings: Houston's Hot Fudge, Salty Anything, Everything Bagels with Cream Cheese, and Fruit
Anything making you queasy or sick:  MMM... Certain food smells
Gender:  We think it's a boy, but we won't find out until October 13th!
Labor Signs: NO
Belly Button in or out? IN, IN, IN- I'm praying it stays that way
Wedding rings on or off?  ON!
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy, with the occasional Moody Meltdown
Looking forward to: Laying out with my friend Bethany Sunday, Getting a pregnancy massage next weekend, and having Derrick home in 17 days!
Couldn't function without: CHIROPRACTOR appointments- Dr. Chris and Dr. Sonya are HEAVEN sent! They have really helped me out with my sciatic pain and my hip flexor pain.

In other news...
Derrick is on a 3 week trip to South Africa! He is currently in Zimbabwe (Yes, I had to google where this is because I had NO idea!) He will travel to a few other places and then return home on October 1.

Maybe Now is Not the Time

We found out Monday that the house we fell in love with got sold to a different buyer, but we figured it was for the best and did not worry about it.

Tuesday we put in an offer on another GREAT house! But today we found out that the buyers had chosen a different buyer.

Feeling very discouraged.

Playing the waiting game...

Today was WONDERFUL!!! Our NEW real estate agent Lucia took us to look at a few houses this morning. Derrick and I fell in LOVE with the first one! It is a 3 bed/ 2.5 bath home in Phoenix, Great Floor plan, and we love that the we have a neighborhood park 2 houses down :) We immediately decided we didn't want to miss out on this home and put in an offer (Today was it's 1st day being on the market). We are so EXCITED, but are still asking for prayers because now we wait. The listing agent send all of the offers she collects over the next 5 business days and will submit them to the bank next Friday. After the bank receives them they have 30days to respond, and if we pass all of that then we still have to wait to close. It is a lengthy process, but a great learning experience for me! If everything works out we just might be in for our anniversary- Keeping you posted.

Just Keep Praying

I DO know that everything will end up working out in the, but I am getting a bit discouraged. The house I fell in love with got swept up by a cash buyer, because our real estate agent didn't follow through. Supper FRUSTRATING!

Wow....Engagement Down, Wedding Down. HOUSE HUNT ON

So... I haven't been able to update this blog in over a year! I can't believe time is going by so fast! I promise to try to update at least every month so everyone can stay in our Arizona loop :)

#1. Arizona is SUPER hot right now!
#2. We experienced our first HABOOB together about 2 weeks ago.
~Definition: A haboob is a wall of dust as a result of a microburst or downburst. The air forced downward is pushed forward by the front of a thunderstorm cell, dragging dust and debris with it, as it travels across the terrain.~
#3. Derrick survived his first "Hispanic/Mexican" Birthday Party with all my extended family that came up from Tucson to celebrate my Grandma Yolie's 65th Birthday!

ohhh.... and #4. If you haven't heard Derrick and I are currently house shopping!!! After renting the past year we are very excited to purchase our first home together. So far the house hunt hasn't been so wonderful, but everything happens for a reason, so we will just keep searching!
The first home we put an offer in for was a 4bd/3bath home in Scottsdale with a beautiful outside area and SUPER awesome features like a sauna and atrium, but the offer fell through :( (I'm pretty sure because of the shady realtor)

Now, we currently have an offer in on a 3bd/2bath home in Paradise Valley. This home has great features and great potential- Pool, Outside Area, Dry/Food Storage Area(which I will DEFIANTLY need Raynes womens help with), Laundry room, Arizona room, and 3100 sq. ft. BUTTTT if you know Derrick he LOVES a great deal which also means it's a FIXER UPPER . I love that he knows what great potential it has and how much it would cost to make it into my dream home :) Hopefully we will get news this week letting us know if the seller accepts and if she does it will move to the bank, if she doesn't then we will have to put in another offer at a higher price. We will keep everyone updated. Please keep us in your prayers.

Love you all.
